NKOTB Concert

Mike went down on monday morning at 9 am to stand in line for New Kids on the Block tickets. He has been a die hard fan for as long as I have known him. He even stayed true to them after they broke up. So now they are doing a reunion tour and mike was willing to do whatever it took to get tickets. We thought it was going to be more difficult then it was because the stinkin American Express cardholders got to get their tickets in a presale deal so that alone was a concern because we thought for sure it would sell out because all the other shows have been selling out. But Mike went down to Fiesta anyway and gave it a shot. Here's what happened...

The picture is a little blurry but as you can see, we got the tickets!! Section 118 which is pretty good. It's not nosebleed section but it's not way up close where you lose your hearing either. I am going with mike because that is my job as the wife, to be supportive and share in these experiences with him. I was a new kids fan when I was younger for a very short time but not the die hard fan that mike is. I can honestly say that Michael will feel like his life is complete once he goes to this show. It is something his mother always promised him but was never able to give him before she left this earth. Just wanted to share in this excitement with all of you...

Mike's Birthday

Mike's birthday was last weekend, June 1st. We went to spaghetti warehouse for his birthday. My family also celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. Mike and I got several gift cards and a steamer from Jamie and Melissa. But the most exciting gift was the snow cone machine that mike got from my parents. Mike thrives on snow cones, it is like chocolate to him. So needless to say, he is very excited about being able to make his own snow cones at home with a variety of flavors to chose from. He has a dream of one day opening his own snow cone stand. Maybe if he makes a enough money doing that, I can quit my day job!

Mom thought she would be cute and wrap each syrup and cup individually so it took a while to get to the big gift, which was the sno cone machine

Melissa's Bridal Shower

Last weekend, Melissa's church, South Center Baptist, threw her a bridal shower. We had a wonderful time and I always enjoy going back to South Center to visit my church family. Melissa and Jamie got alot of wonderful gifts. The big day is now less than a month away. I can't wait to have Melissa as part of the family.

trying to be 21st century

I have decided to go back into the blogging world. I don't have that many exciting things going on but I figured for the few events that do happen, I could share them with all of my friends and family. I hope to get better at using my digital camera and then I can post pictures along with my posts. I will need a bit more practice before that happens though. Hope you all enjoy sharing in the events that happen with Michael and I.
